For you to make any sustainable progress, you will have to use the “progressive overload” technique and the “SAID Principle“. This necessarily means you will continually subject yourself to movements that are “hard” or “difficult”. Yes, that’s the point: to get to the point where your mind tells you “please, no mas”, but you impose a specific “difficult” demand on your body to force it to grow stronger.
I.e. in every workout, you will hit the wall. When that happens, you don’t say, “Ok, that’s good enough, I’m done.” Instead, you say, “This is what I’ve been waiting for. This is what I’ve been preparing for. So that I can train my mind and body to overcome this particular limit and grow stronger than this particular limit.”
